April 3, 2006 - Version 11 Installation Error Message:

March 30, 2006  -  Converted Databases load Tasks for incorrect square footages:   All users of Custodial Solutions and Simply a Breeze  shipped before April 1, 2006 who convert databases will have a problem with square footage when loading Tasks.  To solve this problem, download the newest internet update version 11.0.6 (Custodial Solutions) or update version 11.0.1 (Simply a Breeze).  Then open the Area Types form (tab 1, button 6 Area types).  This will solve the problem for the database you are linked to at the time.  You must link to each existing database and open the Area types form to apply the fix to all version 11 databases.   Also, any customer who wants us to fix their databases , call 518-355-8618 and arrange with Janine to upload zipped databases for us to fix.  We will be able to check for any incorrectly loaded Tasks and fix them.   This issue is resolved in Custodial Solutions version 11.0.6 and Simply a Breeze version 11.0.1 shipped after April 1, 2006.    To replace your conversion software and prevent the problem with future converted databases, you will need to get a new file.  Overwrite the file to the C:\Program Files\Breeze Software\Custodial Solutions 11\Convert folder or the C:\Program Files\Breeze Software\Simply a Breeze 11\Convert folder.

October 28, 2005  -  Pocket PC does not retrieve all Inspections, Areas or Items Issue:  
The Pocket PC has been creating duplicate ID numbers.  The more inspections entered into a database, the more likely Inspections, Areas or Items will not be retrieved.  To solve this problem, download the newest internet update version 10.2.9 or later.   Also, any customer with this problem will have to send their databases to Breeze to make a design change to accommodate the fix.  Please call Linda Bier at 866-879-4740 to arrange to have your databases updated.  This issue is resolved in version 11.

August 17, 2005  -  Loading Area Tasks and Facility Holidays Issue:   It is not possible to have every day in one month be a holiday.  At least one day in each month must be available for scheduling for the loading of tasks to function correctly.  If you need help making decisions about holidays (perhaps to make your routine task frequency a specific number, such as 180 for a school year), please call us at 518-355-8618 and we will help you make this happen.

December 9, 2004   -    Internet or Manual Unlock needed every time the software opens:   If you unlock the software and find that you need to unlock it every time you open it, this is the solution.  You need to download this file SageKey6.zip (probably as administrator or local admin) and extract the files SageKey6.dll and Sagekey6.vxd to the C:\Windows\System32 folder.  Overwrite the existing files.  Then login as administrator and open the software.  Unlock the software either manually by calling Breeze (518-355-8618) or via the internet.  Close the software and re-open to make sure that the unlock form does not reappear.   Then log out and login as the computer user.  Open the software and the unlock form should not appear.  If it does, please call us to help you.

June 21, 2004   -   Pocket PC and Palm software Problem:   The Pocket PC aligns Areas with numbers only to the right.  The Palm freezes when an Area has no Inspection Items to load for an inspection.  For the Pocket PC installation, please consult your Pocket PC installation instructions before beginning the installation.  New Installations of PDA software is now available by clicking here.  Pocket PC Download    Palm Download

June 4, 2004   -   Pocket PC Upload Problem:   It is possible that on some computers, the installation of version 10 software will not register the necessary support files for the Pocket PC.  The result is that although the installation proceeds successfully, the Pocket PC user cannot upload data to their Pocket PC.  To solve this problem, please click here to download/install  Microsoft MDAC271

May 13, 2004   -   Backup Issue:   All version 10 software backups may not use the hyphen key in the name of a backup (example:  Breeze-051304.zip).  Instead use an underscore (example: Breeze_051304.zip) for your backups.  Although the backup will be created, you may not restore it unless the "-" is either removed or changed.
